Welcome to 1st Sutton Coldfield Sea Scouts based on Powells Pool in Sutton Park. As a Sea Scout Group we offer a range of water activities including Sailing, Kayaking, Rowing and Power Boating. We are a RN Recognised Sea Scout Group, one of just 100 groups in the UK to hold this recognition.

Squirrals gives 4-6 year olds an opportunity to get stuck in, try new things, learn, explore and go on adventures. Our squirrals meet on Tuesdays from 5:00pm to 6:15pm.
Beavers gives 6-8 year olds an opportunity to get stuck in, try new things, learn, explore and go on adventures. Our Beavers meet on Tuesdays from 6:15pm to 7:30pm.
Cubs is for 8 – 10½ year olds. Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world. Our Cubs meets on Wednesday's from 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Sea Scouts gives 10½-14 year olds opportunities to develop new skills, with a focus on Water Activities. We boat on Powells Pool in the Summer Months. Scouts Meets on a Thursday or Friday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the winter and 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the summer.
Explorers gives 14 to 18 year olds opportunities to develop new skills, with a focus on Water Activities. We boat on Powells Pool in the Summer Months. Explorers Meet on a Tuesday evening every other week.
Our Scout Active Support Unit (known as OfBoat) meets on a Tuesday Morning, supporting the work of the group, maintaining our boats and headquarters.
